Annual Credit Report

Under the Fair Credit Reporting Act you are entitled to get an annual free credit report. You can order your free annual credit report at Not or any other free credit score website. These non-government endorsed websites are selling monthly monitoring services that typically cost $14-$25 dollars a month. is the site the government required the three credit bureaus to set up. This is the only site where you can get your yearly free credit report. The credit reporting agencies do charge a fee to get your scores though. I recommend to get for annual report, do not pay for the scores. Then find a good free credit score offer to check these for free too, once a year.

You will get a consumer copy of your annual credit report. This report does not contain your credit scores. You can get free credit scores by taking a trial free credit score offer. It’s a mortgage debt related site and they have no monthly fees ever. This is the first time we have ever seen a great credit offer like this one.

At the annual credit report site you will be able to upgrade for a fee to a credit report score. An alternative is to sign up with a site and get a credit report with free credit scores and monitoring service. If you just want to get your free credit score report, simply cancel the monitoring service before the free trial period ends without further obligation.

Before you sign up for a credit report or credit monitoring service you’ll want to make sure you are getting a tri merged credit report that includes information from each of the three national credit reporting agencies or their affiliates. A single respiratory or dual merged credit report may not have all of your credit data included depending on where you live. Many creditors may only report your credit history to one or two to the three credit bureaus. Unless you know which agencies all of your creditors report to anything less than a report with all three credit bureaus could lead to a problem when working to on repairing your credit.
